Some of the world's best films highlighting the nexus between the need for environmental protection and sustainable development have received the tveGlobal Sustainability Film Awards 2015.

The charity tve makes films about the big environment and development challenges of our times, and harnesses the creativity and talent of online filmmakers to give their take on the state of the planet.

The secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) chaired the tveGlobal Sustainability Film Awards 2015 judging panel. Nick Nuttall, chair of the jury and Spokesperson and Head of Communications for the UNFCCC, said:

“Congratulations to TVE for organizing yet another excellent awards in advance of the landmark UN Paris climate conference. It was tough choosing the winners from what was an even bigger and more high caliber series of entries than previous years. I am sure that as a result of the new, universal Paris Agreement on climate change inked just a few days ago, 2016 will witness even more submissions as this competition evolves to an ever higher level of quality, global reach and engagement by sustainable business”.
